Recording Academy Membership Opportunity - Action Required Before Friday

If you were on the live earlier today, I mentioned this opportunity and told you as per your request that I would post the actual Master List of those I am recommending be paired to make this happen for you.
As many of you know, one of the pillars of what we are building together inside the AMP Community is the belief that we grow stronger in numbers. With that in mind, I have been working behind the scenes to position our community for Recording Academy membership and I want you to understand exactly what that means for you.

WHAT THE RECORDING ACADEMY MEMBERSHIP GIVES YOU
The Recording Academy offers members the ability to submit music for GRAMMY consideration, vote on GRAMMY nominees and winners (Voting Members), and help shape future categories and rules. Members also gain access to networking events, writer retreats, workshops, leadership opportunities, and advocacy efforts protecting creators’ rights and royalties.
Additional benefits include:
- Access to health, dental, and vision insurance options
- Direct connection to MusiCares for emergency financial and personal support
- Educational seminars and expert-led industry panels
- Discounts on music conferences, festivals, and industry services
- Lower GRAMMY submission fees through Early Entry pricing
Membership Types:
- Voting Membership: Active creators including artists, producers, engineers, and songwriters
- Professional Membership: Executives, educators, managers, and industry professionals
- GRAMMY U: Full-time students pursuing music careers with mentorships and educational perks

HOW THE FEE WORKS
The Recording Academy does charge an annual membership fee. I want to be crystal clear: that fee does NOT come to me. It goes directly to the Recording Academy. You will pay them directly upon your approval when they grant you access to your account.

THE PAIRING OPPORTUNITY — YOU HAVE TO GIVE TO GAIN
As part of this process, members are being paired with veterans in our community for mentorship and recommendation pathways. Please understand: if you choose to forfeit your interest in being paired or in recommending someone else, that is a forfeit of the opportunity altogether. You cannot opt out of giving and still expect to receive. We build together or we do not build at all.
I have compiled a Master Roster of our community — your names, your artist names, your roles, and your experience are documented and organized. I am proud of what this community represents on paper and in practice. If you do not see your name, please list it below in the comments with the required info and I will get you added.

THE APPROVAL TIMELINE
Once you move forward, the approval process takes approximately 8 to 10 business days — sometimes earlier, sometimes later, but that is the average. Once you are approved and commit to this opportunity, I will walk you through exactly what I am asking you to do with regard to your social profiles and your professional presence online. We want to make it easy for them to approve you with flying colors during the vetting and qualification phase. More on that soon — stay tuned.

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU
I will be reaching out to each of you before Friday to answer any questions you may have. However, if you do not comment and express that you are ready to move forward and that you understand the fee, I will have no way of knowing you are interested.

- Years Active: How many years have you been in this business. Performing. Distributing. Writing professionally. Working. Not years practicing like performing in church as a child, or at middle school plays. Professionally.
