ABOUT THE PROJECT /Describe my Recording
“Crumble” is a jazz-soul fusion recording by ANEW Dawn that explores themes of resilience, strength, transformation, memory, and healing blending elements of jazz, soul, blues, and contemporary songwriting, creating a sound rooted in emotional storytelling and personal reflection.
Recorded through an independent creative process, the project brings together original compositions, expressive vocals, and layered musical arrangements designed to highlight the connection between lyrics, melody, and lived experience. Drawing inspiration from the storytelling traditions of soul, jazz, country, and popular music, “Crumble” reflects a journey through difficult seasons, personal growth, and gaining strength from faith.
The recording explores the experiences that shape people over time — including health, not crumbling, perseverance, self-discovery, and the strength found in continuing forward. Each song contributes to a larger narrative centered on the emotional landscapes that influence the human experience.
