How long has everyone been training?
I have been training Jiu-jitsu about 8 years with a decent break around year two.
Building Real American Jiu-Jitsu 🇺🇸
What’s up everyone — I’m Steven Patterson, 3rd-degree black belt and owner of University of Ground Fighting (UofGF) out of New Lenox, Illinois. I’ve been teaching and competing for years, and my focus is on building American Jiu-Jitsu that’s rooted in pressure, wrestling, and real-world effectiveness — not just sport trends or footsie play. I’m here to connect with other coaches, students, and practitioners who believe in sharpening skill through hard work, not hype. Let’s share training philosophies, techniques that actually work, and ideas for growing the American Jiu-Jitsu identity. What does American Jiu-Jitsu mean to you? 🇺🇸 — Steven @ UofGF www.UofGF.com
