Video Hosting
Hello. What are the best video hosting platforms for me to record videos and transfer into Skool?
๐Ÿ› ๏ธ How to optimize your Skool funnel with the new Traffic Sources
The new Growth Dashboard isn't just for looking atโ€”it's for optimizing. Here is the technical breakdown of the new update and how to ensure your data is clean. โš™๏ธ How it works: - Attribution Model: Last-Touch Attribution (User clicks link -> Signs up -> That link gets 100% credit). - Affiliate Exception: Affiliates have a 14-day window. ๐Ÿšซ The "Direct Traffic" Warning: If your dashboard shows a huge percentage of "Direct" traffic, you are flying blind. This usually happens if: 1. People type your URL manually. 2. You are using Linktree / Stan Store / Bitly. 3. You are using custom domain redirects that strip headers. ๐Ÿ’ก The Fix: To get 100% accurate data, stop using intermediate link-in-bio tools. Use your raw Skool About Page link (skool.com/your-group) directly in your bios and YouTube descriptions. ๐Ÿš€ Prediction: We are going to see a shift from "Omnichannel" (trying to be everywhere) to "High-Yield Channel" strategies. Use the data to cut the dead weight in your content strategy. Who else is seeing "Skool Network" outperforming their social media? ๐Ÿค”

๐Ÿ“Š Skool Traffic Sources are LIVE (Check your stats now)
Huge update just hit the platform. You can now see exactly where your members (and your revenue) are coming from. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Whatโ€™s New: - Source Breakdown: See if members came from YouTube, IG, Facebook, or the Skool Network. - Revenue Tracking: See which platform drives the most MRR (money in the bank), not just clicks. - Conversion Rates: Spot which platforms bring "window shoppers" vs. buyers. โš ๏ธ Important Note: If you are on the Pro Plan, you see the exact sources. If you are on the Hobby Plan, you will see "Skool Network" data, but external sources (FB/IG/YouTube) will be blurred/randomized until you upgrade. โœ… Action Step: Go to Settings -> Growth. Take a screenshot of your top traffic source and drop it below! ๐Ÿ‘‡
Have YOU Started!? Would a Blueprint Help!?
While we build out the rest of our curriculum in Skool University, I would love to get some conversations started in the community! Let us know if you've started or haven't started in the poll below! If you have started, feel free to drop a plug for your school community so we can all support each other here! If you haven't started, that's okay! Tell us the biggest hurdle or roadblock that is holding you back, and maybe we can help you get started! From my experience helping other people get started on Skool or any other business, usually it's the fear of the unknown holding them back. The lack of 100% confidence that it will work if they start now. While there are no guarantees in life, it always helps to have a proven blueprint that someone else has proven to work and has transparently shared with you. That's what this community is all about! We are creating an operating system and 30-day blueprint that has proven to be successful for us and we can't wait for it help you succeed too!!

Free vs. Paid Skool Communities: The "Dual-Group" Strategy Explained
The "Two-Group Model" (one free group for leads, one paid group for clients) is the most debated strategy on Skool right now. Alex Hormozi swears by it. Others say it causes burnout. So, should you do it? Here is the breakdown to help you decide. ๐Ÿ‘‡ ๐Ÿš€ The Pros of Running Two Communities The main reason to separate them is The Funnel. The free group is for learning, the paid group is for implementation. 1. Effective Lead Nurturing A free group lets skeptics "date" you before they "marry" you. It builds trust before the sale. 2. Clear Audience Segmentation - Free Group: Your "Meetup." For broad interest and leads. - Paid Group: Your "Locker Room." For committed clients only. 3. Demand Creation You can use the free group strictly to convert traffic (e.g., hosting a weekly webinar) without cluttering your paid members' experience. 4. Safety for High-Ticket Offers If you sell a $2kโ€“$10k+ offer, a free community is essential. It provides a "safe" container to nurture leads over time. โš ๏ธ The Cons (Read this carefully) The downside is almost always operational drag. 1. Operational Complexity & Burnout Managing two groups takes double the energy. For solopreneurs, this causes severe "brain drain." 2. The "Value Balance" Trap It is hard to balance: - Give too much in Free? They feel full and never buy. - Give too little in Free? The group dies and leads go cold. 3. Double the Cost You pay two Skool subscriptions (e.g., $99 x 2). ๐Ÿ’ก The Alternative: The "Tiers" Model Many creators are switching to a single group using Skoolโ€™s Tiers feature. Why switch? - Solves Burnout: Everyone is in one hub. One feed. One calendar. - Leverages FOMO: Free members see paid members winning in the chat. The Verdict: โœ… Choose Two Groups if: You have a team and a high-ticket offer ($2k+). โœ… Choose Single Group (Tiers) if: You are a solopreneur or sell a low-ticket membership.
