Alright, starting something new. Every Monday I'm coming in here to get real with you about what I'm actually doing behind the scenes. The wins, the messy parts, all of it. Not just Amazon either, whatever's going on in life. I want you doing the same in the comments.
Here's mine. I've been buried in product research this week and now I get why Claire says half your work week, whether that's 4 hours or 20, is going to go to product research. She wasn't exaggerating. It's a grind.
Also finally started getting brand deals (for anyone who is new here, I am Canadian and most brands would rather not ship here) and I'm slowly working my way toward the Hundo hat on Viral Vue. If you don't know what that is, once you hit 100 brand deals they send you a gorgeous branded hat with flowers on it and I want it lol. Once you're serious about product research, Viral Vue stops being "a tool" and becomes your whole operating system by the way. The brand deal tracker alone is worth it, the product finder takes you straight to high potential products instead of grinding through Amazon blind, and the profit calculator ranks your storefront from highest to lowest earners so you know exactly what to double down on. Product Vue will always be my favorite and most used tool- it takes ANY PAGE- CC, a search page, a competitors storefront- and lists things in ascending order from best to worst with 30 data points per product for your casual perusal. Saves me HOURS AND HOURS. A reminder- you can use the code MOBILEMOM10 to save 10% off if you want in. I also offer free calls (if you have used my code) to help you maximize the program faster because it can feel like a lot at first!
I've also been nerding out on top creator videos trying to find a formula for you guys, not to copy but to understand what actually converts. Two things I keep seeing: comparison videos (got two of the same type of product? do individual reviews AND a head to head), and creators "setting the stage" at the start so people stick around for the end. Small stuff, but the people doing it are pulling 10, 20, even 40k a month off organic videos alone. Once I test this stuff myself I'll of course bring it back here!
Okay but here's the real talk part.
If you want to be making 5K+ a month with this program ( I know I do!), that is absolutely 1000% a reality. Even if you feel tapped out, busy, no energy left, whatever. This program is different than every other business model out there because you're tapping into Amazon's audience, not building your own from scratch. People are shopping on Amazon every single day whether you show up or not. Amazon moves roughly $2 billion dollars a day. Before we even talk about Creator Connections commissions, Amazon is paying out $20 to $60 million a DAY to influencers who take the time to make videos. That money is getting paid out regardless. The only question is whether you're one of the people getting a piece of it.
And that's what this group is for. Use the accountability thread. Check in daily. Hold yourself accountable, steal ideas from each other, get support. Stop robbing yourself of income that is genuinely this simple to access. If you don't need extra money, that's great, you're lucky. But most of us are drowning in inflation right now, and this is hands down the easiest side hustle you could add to your plate.
I know it's summer and a lot of you have kids home right now, so everything feels more stretched than usual. I get it. But even 15 minutes a day adds up, and we're heading into the second half of the year. Q4 is when the real money starts flowing on Amazon. Now is the time to get positioned for it. Help me help you.
Heads up, the classroom isn't as structured as I want it yet, but the 1K Challenge has everything, tips, tricks, strategies. Start there. And no matter where you're at in your journey, go do the first couple days of the Accelerator program. Those first few days are on fire right now.
Get uncomfortable. Get in there and make the videos. That's where the growth actually happens, not before you start. Stop being silly about it. I get it, I'm a professional procrastinator myself. I've been in this program over 2 years and didn't start taking it seriously until about 8 months ago. Look how far I've come in that short window. Ask anyone in this group who started back in January, same story. If you commit, you will make money.
You have to get down with your bad self, get in there, get dirty, and actually make the videos. Build the habit. Build the consistency. The growth comes after you start, not before.
Here’s the other thing with this program, everyone's doing it a little differently and you won't know what works for you until you're actually filming. You can't scroll your way to a strategy. You've gotta get in there and get comfortable on camera and build the reps. I've got members in this group who started in January knowing nothing about Amazon reviews, and now they've got their own systems and their own strategies because they just kept showing up. One of them was upset about having a sub $50 day recently and I had to laugh, because six months ago a $50 day would've been a dream. That's not luck, that's just what happens when you put the work in.
Side note, totally unrelated to Amazon: I finally started working out again. Way overdue, it was actually on my January goals list and I'm proud I'm finally following through. Also, got myself a FREE little foldable desk I can carry anywhere in the house or camping, and I'm building myself a tiny outdoor office on the deck since it's summer. Super jacked about that!
So that's me. Product research, brand deals, video strategy, some real talk, and finally taking care of myself.
Your turn. What are you working on this week, Amazon or not? What's one uncomfortable thing you're doing to move forward? Drop it below. Let's motivate each other and actually hold each other to it. 👇
P.S. Fair warning, I'm trying to turn this into a bit of a daily thing here, so hopefully you don't get sick of me. Just really want more of you engaged and active in here because I genuinely want the best for you guys and I truly think this opportunity is as good as I keep saying it is.
