@MaryBeth Ramsey I've never used Imovie, but I'll let you know why I switched. I'll include a link to a product review I made with Capcut. ( I removed the affiliate code from link below so I don't overwrite anyone's cookies) https://www.amazon.com/vdp/035fb9c32fc64d73ac70fc1b200977fc 1. 1. Auto color correction - There's a paid feature that applies lutz to increase contrast. It's a single button that will improve to improve the look. If it doesn't you unclick it to go back to original footage. 1. 2. Professional text overlay - (Check out 4 second mark). There's a text overlay. It is animated for the entry and exit. Capcut has built in animations for text. There's also so many options for styling the font, color, effects and style. I normally just pick one that stands out. 1. 3. Time lapse. Did you notice the overlay in the upper right hand corner? I believe its a 10x speed. Capcut allows me to adjust the speed faster or slower with a simple slider. 4. Animations & Transitions - Did you notice the very first second of the video I had a zoom? I do this for most of my videos. These are built in with the paid version so there's no need to buy extra packs. 5. Noise Reduction / Audio Adjustments - There are a lot of audio options. They can be overkill, but it's great if I'm doing layered videos to lower the tracks for a garbage disposal or blender. The main reason I love capcut is because it makes good videos easy. If I were trying to make something super professional, Adobe Premier or Davince Resolve would be a better tool. But Capcut gives me 90% of the those results with very little work by using their defaults. I can go into some advanced timesaving tricks if anyone else is a Capcut user, but I'm mainly switching to the reasons I picked it over the others. 1.

@Lorah McCorriston - That's exactly why I changed. I was spending 30+ minutes editing a video with basic revisions and few effects. I can get a much higher quality video in less than 10 minutes with Capcut. My goal for editing is < 1.5x length of video so a 6 minute video, can be edited in 9 minutes. (Excluding export time as I just do that in the background while doing other work)
Is the Amazon Influencer Program Still Worth It?
A couple weeks ago I did a poll and a lot of people checked "not sure" - and I get it. With all the changes Amazon has made recently, the noise online is loud and confusing. So let me be real with you. The Amazon Influencer Program is still 100% worth your time. But I want to be clear about something important: Simple is not the same as easy. This program is one of the simplest ways to generate an online income available right now - but simple still requires effort, consistency, and strategy. I can give you the strategy. I can give you the education (at a price that is genuinely reasonable - that's intentional). What I can't give you is the motivation to show up. Here's what I can confirm though: people inside this group who have stayed consistent over the last few months are already generating four figures a month - in less than six months. Despite every change Amazon has thrown at us. And honestly? We've barely scratched the surface. We've been building this intentionally - in a way that's sustainable for people who are already busy, already stretched, already doing a million things. If you're not seeing results yet, it almost always comes down to one or more of these three things: strategy, effort, or consistency. No course or program - mine included - can replace the decision to show up for yourself at least a couple of hours a week. Amd here's a quick reality check on the "gurus": I've taken a lot of Amazon Influencer courses. I've been in this world for a couple of years. And I can tell you - the problem is almost never a lack of information. You can find information for free on YouTube. The problem is people listening to fake gurus promising they made $80K in their first six months. That is not the reality of the Influencer program today. What IS realistic? High four figures a month, with part-time hours, if you know what you're doing. That's not a small deal. That's life-changing money for a lot of families. On Tuesday's I am hosting a FREE webinar with Claire: a SAHM consistently earning 5-10k a month with the AIP. She offers a 6 weeks long course to help you generate similar results- or which I offer a rebate by the way- because I don't want finances to be what stops people from success- that is also why this group is structured the way it is.

@Courtney Parent I love this! Congratulations. Luck is all part of the game so it all counts, and this item will be a clue for future success. I have 457 videos and 30 videos account for more than 80% of my earnings last year. Over 100 didn't produce a single order last year. It sounds like you're creating amazing videos that convert well to earn the $260 from the other 11 videos. Right now, I average a little over $2 per video per month.

3 review videos rejected for illegal content
Yep. three of my videos have been rejected. Could it be that Stephen doesn't have a shirt on? The one below he's shirtless for the whole 1 minute video. the other two he's shirtless for the second half- he had just come out of the water, using the dive equipment that we were reviewing and taped him talking about it without a shirt on

@MaryBeth Ramsey I have a huge tip for getting your first 3 videos approved. I would suggest picking simple items. Wear a solid color T-shirt or Sweatshirt against a blank wall and talk about them for 1 minute in very basic terms. For example, I did an oven mitt, a coffee mug, and a pizza cutter. I've included a link to one of my first 3 videos if you'd like to see an example. https://www.amazon.com/vdp/09daa7478d754d8da6761a765633b006?ref_=aipsfvideo&linkCode=ssc&tag=leonerd-20&src=aipsf The purpose of these vids *IS NOT* to make sales. It's to pass the algorithm to ensure that you are not making any claims, don't have personal information or break other rules. Also, make sure you have very clear audio. I sound a bit odd in my video as I cleared background noise. Once your first 3 videos get approved, you can make videos that actually get onsite focusing on earning a commission. Hope this helps,

@MaryBeth Ramsey Oh. I apologize. I had thought this was about the first 3 vids. I also don't have any info about requirements around swimsuits as most of my vids are about household items. Love to hear back if the zoomed in approach get approved so we know for the other members of the community. :)
Wild thought....
I know probably None of us are Accountants, but I was thinking- if I get paid to review... then doesn't that make everything I buy on Amazon tax deductible? Thoughts?

@Cydney Henry I do not have Viral View free even. After watching some vids, I am going to sign up for a free account with them. It's my understanding that there's a limit in Viral View (where you can buy tokens). I think Oink allows me to have unlimited messages. I'm a tad slow on asking for free products right now as my mom was in the ER in April, and I am spending a lot of my time taking her between various DR appointments, so I have scaled back a lot until June. I base my item requests on a management system I learned working at Amazon. I use a Kanban inventory flow system. When a vendor sample comes in, I place it on a "To Be Filmed Table". The table is divided into 4 segments. When an item arrives, I place it on the left most part of the table. When I start each day, I just move everything down one area. Anything in the last section, I prioritize and film if possible. I then film things in section 3, 2 and finally items the newest section. The amount of vendor requests depends on how many items are on my table. If I have over 20 items, then I don't request anything. If I have between 10-20, I will request about 100 items knowing that I'll get 3-5%. If I have less than 10 items, I will request 200 or more. The goal is to always have something on the table to film. That process worked great for me when I had time. I also really like that it holds me accountable to avoid the items that slip through the cracks. Before I started this system, I would just have bins and boxes filled with items. Sadly, I still do have some large plastic filled with items that I bought, and I didn't see as high value opportunities. Another key part of my process is that I have a spreadsheet where I track all samples that I'm expecting. I add this when the vendor tells me they are sending me the item. This has the vendor name, date, link to the product and what it is. (Aka Roach Killer, Air Filter, cleaning wipes). Amazon has stopped including the little white slips of paper in many shipments.
