Why I Started This Community (The Honest Version)
I want to tell you something I don't say enough.
Some years ago I was someone who had let himself go. Not dramatically — I wasn't in terrible shape. But I was soft. Slow. I'd look in the mirror and barely recognize the competitor I used to be.
I decided to rebuild. Not just train — REBUILD. From the ground up. Sleep, nutrition, training structure, identity. All of it. And in under a year I dropped 1:18 off my marathon time. 4:46 to 3:27. That's not a training program tweak. That's a full life overhaul.
Here's what nobody tells you about a transformation like that: the running was the easy part. The hard part was deciding I was an athlete again. That I deserved to train like one. That I could ask more of myself without apologizing for it.
I built this community because I know there are people out there exactly where I was. Former athletes who got busy, got comfortable, lost the thread. People who still have that competitor inside them but don't know how to access it anymore. Runners who want to actually GET BETTER, not just log miles and hope for the best.
This is not a "motivation" community. I don't do vague inspiration. We're going to talk about real training, real nutrition, real recovery, real mindset. The stuff that actually moves the needle. And we're going to do it together.
I'm glad you're here. Now let's get to work.

You're still an athlete. You just stopped training like one. This community is where that changes.
