ALOHHHHAA!
What’s up everyone!
I go by Andy Scissorhands for those new to the platform. I’ve been a professional barber in California since 2012 — started out in San Diego, made my way up the coast, spent some time working in L.A., and eventually landed in San Francisco, where I had the opportunity to run and co-own a couple of shops I’m still proud of to this day.
Fast forward to now — I’m back in downtown San Diego, working in a salon and keeping myself booked and busy four days a week, while also holding a part-time gig at Camp Pendleton Marine Base. That keeps me behind the chair five days a week, doing what I love most: connecting with people, helping them feel confident, and transforming their look.
Barbering has given me more than a career — it’s given me purpose, creativity, and lifelong connections. I truly love what I do, and I’m always looking to learn, grow, and collaborate with other passionate professionals.
