Hey Guys, wanted to share some of my experience to the community and everyone has their own journey to when it comes to GTM. I would love to start sharing mine here and would love to kick off by this
🚀 So Why Most GTM Strategies Fail (And How to Fix Yours)
After working across multiple SaaS companies and seeing countless GTM launches, here’s what I’ve learned:
Most GTM failures aren’t due to bad products—they’re due to:1️⃣ Misunderstood ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)2️⃣ Vague value propositions3️⃣ Weak activation and onboarding experience4️⃣ No real feedback loop between marketing, sales, and product
💡 Here’s a GTM checklist I use before any launch:
- ✅ Clear ICP, broken down into segments
- ✅ JTBD (Jobs-to-Be-Done) mapped to positioning
- ✅ Objection-handling messaging crafted before launch
- ✅ Onboarding optimized for Time-to-Value
- ✅ Sales and marketing teams aligned on lead qualification
- ✅ Clear metric owners: Activation, Retention, Revenue
