🚀 Why Most GTM Strategies Fail (And How to Fix Yours)
Hey Guys, wanted to share some of my experience to the community and everyone has their own journey to when it comes to GTM. I would love to start sharing mine here and would love to kick off by this
🚀 So Why Most GTM Strategies Fail (And How to Fix Yours)
After working across multiple SaaS companies and seeing countless GTM launches, here’s what I’ve learned:
Most GTM failures aren’t due to bad products—they’re due to:1️⃣ Misunderstood ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)2️⃣ Vague value propositions3️⃣ Weak activation and onboarding experience4️⃣ No real feedback loop between marketing, sales, and product
💡 Here’s a GTM checklist I use before any launch:
  • ✅ Clear ICP, broken down into segments
  • ✅ JTBD (Jobs-to-Be-Done) mapped to positioning
  • ✅ Objection-handling messaging crafted before launch
  • ✅ Onboarding optimized for Time-to-Value
  • ✅ Sales and marketing teams aligned on lead qualification
  • ✅ Clear metric owners: Activation, Retention, Revenue
