On Friday my daughter had a birthday she turned 12! She wanted to walk in the cemetery I haven't walked in a cemetery in years the words out of my mouth: "Why would we look for the living amongst the dead?" And I prayed before I got over there because well..things like to follow me or hang out with me when I walk in places like a cemetery and other places and remembered we are just Covered by the Blood of Christ, right, Psalm 91, protected, and this morning Psalm 61 and Ephesians 6:10-18 wearing the Armor of God. As I walk to the path where we are about to enter into the cemetery I hear: "get ready for Resurrection Power" and I am like what? So we continue to walk along and enter the cemetery. And teaching moment pops up, my daughter is sad that people died too early in life, that there was a child that died, and I mention that if they accepted Jesus they are in Heaven, they are still alive living well and they are OKAY. They just passed on from here. And mentioned this as many times as it came up. I also prayed resurrection life as I walked through that cemetery, spoke it in "resurrection life" and one time on that path, started to dance, no music was playing but I just danced anyway. Speaking again "resurrection life"! Then from there she wanted to head to the bank: ONE CU for their annual grill and gather event which is a cookout for bank goers. After a wonderful time of bubbles, free ice cream, free food, free drink, free puppy petting, and a lovely talk with the marketing executive at the bank about how Maple the maple leaf was born and animated. I had an account years ago at this bank and lost the account due to a huge overdraft. Then my ex husband came into some insurance money and shared it with me, I was able to pay off the account and closed it out. And then deposited some funds in my current husband at the time's account because he was in Michigan visiting his mom and wasn't working at the time I wanted him to have some money to get to Vermont, and he fixed a step on the deck from the "home I lost for a time" in the first marriage (I want to believe that address will come back again), he didn't charge me anything for it I thought it was favor from God and it probably was, but it was because he loved me I would later find out. He had overheard a talk about how my soon to be ex husband at the time was talking to me about money I couldn't give to him, and he listened to my story and didn't charge me anything for it, I wanted to pay him for his work tho, so several years later I did just that by depositing money in the account. We were married at the time of this deposit but he was not there, he had "separated" from me, and I say that in quotes because I really believe spiritually you really aren't separated when that happens, it may "seem" that way but when God is in it what does His word say? "What God brings together husband and wife No One Can Separate!" So were we separated? Hmmm....
