Artifacts in Claude - TIPS for educational creators!

So I'm in the middle of recording my Claude Power User course right now, and one of the modules is about artifacts. And I wasn't even planning to be that impressed since I haven't used them that much...

But If you're an educator and you have long-form content or educational materials that you create (YouTube videos, courses, workshops, whatever) - you can use Claude artifacts to create mini interactive experiences and lead magents for your audience, like quizzes, calculators, other visual tools!

Here's what I did:

Went to Artifacts in Claude (available on free accounts)
I took a transcript from one of my YouTube videos (the one about Claude skills and plugins), uploaded it straight into Claude, and asked it to create an interactive experience as a supporting tool for people watching the video.

A PRO TIP: The first version came out very purple and dark, because that's what vibe-coded things seem to default to. So I added a link to a website which I love the colors and aesthetics of (Gumroad) and asked Claude to match that instead.

So I've been massively underusing this feature and I think especially for educational creators, it's basically a light vibe-coding playground where you can build interactive resources that actually support your content. I also saw some cool examples for others using it to create gamified learning experiences, interactive excels, mind maps, dashboard... - as always imagination is the limit!

You probably can't hook them up to databases or anything complex like that or create user accounts.

But as a standalone educational tool that adds extra value to what you're already teaching is pretty cool!
