Here is a variation of a thick and thin line in a spiral .. the concept is the same but the variables can change ..the shape the distance together or apart the number of loops where in the spiral it gets thick it’s to move the finger and hand separately together … if you feel it thin you can add … feel that trigger working .. have fun !

Here is a great exercise - a favorite of mine I practice this in all my lettering that I do with handwriting : start with the first one and a roll of paper towels is inexpensive so try to feel a thin line and once you know where thin is try to thick and back to thin .. you should feel your finger moving back and fourth while your hand is in a spiral .. draw the spiral with hand and wrist work the line thickness with the trigger .. same speed same distance .. paint can’t be to thick or line will wiggle or airbrush will have delay in spray .. Here is hand writhing .. the idea it to do a thick and thin line in one consistent motion—- so you have to move through the letters at the same time your finger pulls the trigger and let’s go some …. Pull back to be thicker and the trigger moves forward but not so much the paint stops to go thinner —- so the thick and thin is one part and the letter shapes is the other think of the trigger is pulled back 25 percent 50 percent 75 percent 100 percent .. it feels to me I’m on 65 percent thick side thin side it’s 20-25 percent .. even less for thin lines .. it is ok once you practice it a bit hard at first .
