This fully remote role is open to candidates in LATAM (Latin America), Africa, and Eastern Europe - who can work U.S. business hours (EST).
A major Hollywood-backed entertainment company with a vast comic and anime universe is building AI-assisted cinematic production pipelines for animation, film, games, and digital storytelling.
Role: AI Filmmaker Team Lead
Remote | 9 AM – 5 PM EST
The company is looking for a filmmaker-first creator with strong cinematic storytelling instincts and hands-on experience with AI video generation tools.
Initially, the role is highly hands-on: generating, editing, and assembling AI-assisted narrative video content. Over time, it evolves into a leadership role overseeing AI generation teams and scalable production workflows across multiple projects.
What You’ll Do
Create AI-assisted cinematic video content using tools like Runway, Sora, Kling, Higgsfield, and similar platforms
Translate scripts into compelling visual storytelling through prompting and creative direction
Build cinematic shot structures, pacing, transitions, and emotional continuity
Edit AI-generated footage into polished long-form productions
Optimize scalable AI production workflows across different visual styles
Eventually lead and train AI generation teams while maintaining creative consistency
Ideal Background
Strong experience in narrative filmmaking, directing, or cinematic editing
Advanced understanding of storytelling, composition, pacing, and post-production
Experience with AI-assisted video workflows and prompting
Proficiency with editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Avid
Ability to independently manage productions from concept to delivery
Leadership potential and comfort working in fast-moving experimental environments
