Which Local Agent Should I Use

Just starting out.

Fascinated by having an AI agent operating on my own computer.

Worried about security and privacy (too much about OpenClaw running amok).

Also, not sure where to start.

Looking for some perspectives, ideas and suggestions. Looking for warnings of what not to do.
