Insider's Edge Call is happening in 5 days
Weekly Check-In: From Cruise Mode To AI Mode 🛳️
I just got off a 4 day cruise over the last few days... it was awesome - I suggest everyone needs a cruise in their lives. I swear I just figured out where the ice cream machine was, and now I am back at my desk pretending I remember how work works. Here is the good news. The same way a cruise staff takes care of a thousand tiny things so you can relax, AI can do the same for your brain during the week. Not by replacing you but offloading the stuff that drains you. Things like: - Drafting that awkward email - Summarizing long articles - Turning messy notes into a clear plan - Coming up with 10 ideas when your brain is stuck on zero The AI mindset for this week:“I don’t have to do everything myself. I just have to decide what gets done and let AI handle the heavy lifting.” If you are over 40, this is your edge. You have experience and judgment. AI just gives you extra hands. Join Me Live: Insider’s Edge Call I am hosting our very first LIVE Insider’s Edge Call this Wednesday at 7 pm. I will walk you through: - Simple ways to plug AI into your week - How to use it to save time, not create more work - Real examples you can steal and try the same night And I have a special gift for everyone who shows up LIVE. You can only get it if you attend live. No replay bonus. No resend. If you are in and want that gift, drop a “I’m in” below and make sure you are there Wednesday at 7 pm.

Challenge of the Week: One Simple AI Win a Day
Here's the truth: you don't need to spend hours learning AI. You just need to use it once a day. Small steps add up fast. So this week's challenge is simple: Use AI to make one everyday task easier. Just one. Try things like: - Have ChatGPT turn your notes from a meeting or call into a short summary. - Ask it to help you write a thoughtful thank-you message or text reply. - Use it to come up with a clever title or caption for something you're posting. - Let it help you decide between two options: dinner recipes, trip destinations, or business ideas. - Have it coach you through a tough conversation or rewrite something so it sounds more confident. - Or, if you're feeling bold, ask it to explain one AI concept you don't understand yet, like "What's the difference between GPT and ChatGPT?" Your move: Pick one task today. Use AI to make it faster, smoother, or less stressful. Then do it again tomorrow. Keep it going all week. And heads up: there's something special coming in the next few days to help you build this into a habit that sticks. Let's hear it in the comments: what's your one AI task today?

Challenge of the Week: One Simple AI Win a Day
Lots to learn
I have your new book. It has an easy to read style. It's what I needed to get started.
Discussion Post: How to Start Learning AI from Absolute Zero (No Tech Background Needed)
Most people over 40 think they’re “too far behind” to learn AI. Truth is, you don’t need to be a coder, data scientist, or tech whiz. You just need a plan — and a mindset that says, “I can learn this one step at a time.” If you’re starting from zero, here’s what actually works: 1. Start with Curiosity, Not PressureDon’t try to “master AI.” Instead, ask, “What could AI help me do faster, easier, or better?” That small shift turns confusion into curiosity — and curiosity fuels learning. 2. Begin with One Tool: ChatGPTSkip the flood of apps. ChatGPT is the foundation. Use it like a learning partner: - Ask it to explain concepts in plain English. - Have it reword confusing answers. - Use it for journaling, brainstorming, or writing. Once you’re comfortable with that, you’ll naturally branch into image tools, video tools, and more. 3. Learn by Doing, Not WatchingYou won’t learn AI by bingeing YouTube tutorials. Open the tool, type something, and experiment. Every click teaches you something new. 4. Keep a “Prompt Journal”Document your wins, your favorite prompts, and what didn’t work. It becomes your personalized AI playbook. 5. Don’t Compare Your Start to Someone Else’s MiddleEveryone learns AI at their own pace. You’re not late, you’re early for your next chapter. 💬 Community Question:If you’re just starting out, what’s the one thing that confuses or intimidates you most about AI?And if you’ve been learning for a while, what do you wish you’d known on day one?
