When using MCP in Cursor and Claude Code, it's crucial to manage your MCP Servers wisely.
1. Opening too many at once can lead to tool issues in Cursor, where it might randomly ignore some tools, causing MCP to malfunction. It's best to keep it under 60 servers.
2. Claude Code, on the other hand, will quickly consume tokens and start behaving erratically. The optimal approach is to differentiate project workspaces and assign distinct MCP Servers for each. Once configured, both Cursor and Claude Code will automatically keep track.
For me? I have separate projects for blog writing and scheduling posts, as well as for keyword and SEO traffic analysis, etc.
