Inspired by what I am learning in here I decided to have a go at making a wordpress plugin for myself. I want to be able to run giveaways as a lead magnet / referral builder and the ones on the market either focus on social shares to build entries (very self serving not community serving) or do not do the level of detail I wanted.

So after roughly 18 interations (and 20ish hours working in it) mine has:

Full custom entry forms. Collect exactly the details you want.
Personal referral links. Every entrant gets their own shareable link automatically after entry
Milestone bonuses. Extra rewards unlock for everyone once entries hit set targets whether they win a prize or not. This is the secret sauce to generate more referral shares.
Major Prize + unlimited Additional Prizes, each with photos and its own winner count
Live, on-brand entry page for every competition. Publish as a post or use short code to embed in a dedicated page.
Prebuild template for FAQ / Rules of entry that is customaisable in the back end.
Built-in spam protection and one-entry-per-email validation
Spoiler-safe Draw Winner screen with a suspense animation. (I built this in so I can record or live stream the draw and keep entrants personal data safe - it has a dedicated page in the backend of the site)
Automatic milestone emails sent from your own business name and address (pulled from promoter details page and sent via internal wordpress email system if you have it set up)
CSV export with full control over which columns to include (You can add as many fields you want and export as many as you want later)
Pre-filled, editable Rules & FAQ that auto-fills with each competition's real details
Your own logo and brand colors, or the built-in gold theme (Branding really only changes a couple of Font colours and background colours - Kept this simple)
Add webhooks to connect to Zapier, Make, ottoKit, Pabbly Connect, or GoHighLevel to send new entrants straight into your CRM or ESP
Fully whitelisted. Use your own branding - no 'powered by' or 'made by' branding to remove.
