There I sat, at home in my recliner. I was 77 years old, just getting along month-to-month driving a rideshare car. I needed a project! I always need something to help keep me optimistic. I glanced at my wall and saw a piece of paper with 1080 circles. They are the number of months in a 90-year life. It's a cute way of gaining perspective, maybe, but it doesn't offer space for any details. But, my mind was seeking something to do ... and it found a goal: This would make a great app! I'm writing this on December 1, about nine months after having that idea. The app is a reality, now published on the app store. Those nine months were filled with learning and progress, and I enjoyed them! The app, LifeMemos, is now one of two apps I've published on the Apple App Store. They are possible because of AI — several different AI's tested and one finally winning my loyalty. I've started this group to find you folks -- those who are like me—needing and wanting a worthwhile project to work on. Maybe you are interested in working with AI but don't know anything about it. I didn't either, nine months ago. Really. I mean, I knew nothing! But we humans can learn, so that's what I did. I will teach you and share with you every step of the way. If this group suits you, I'm glad! If not, that's okay. There are a ton of AI groups here on Skool. Mine might be no different, really, but it is offered to people who want to learn without being pushed, told, or cajoled. I just share what I'm doing and I hope you will, too. I'll teach you what I've learned and am learning. Maybe you have an idea for an app? (All the good ideas are not yet taken, believe me!) Maybe you want to be able to talk with others who are involved in AI, at work at school or at home. It's a fascinating thing, and it isn't going away. Ever. Here is the place to share, maybe dream, pose questions, and not feel odd or like you "don't know enough to participate." It's like I tell the AI when I sign up ... One of my standing rules for them (these machines that are able to think) is: "Be nice, but treat me like a newbie, because that's what I am. I will ask you for many explanations. Your job is to provide them in a usable format."
