Spot Fake "Bank Fraud Department & Zelle Reversal" Calls in 5 Seconds
Good morning everyone! We just added 10 brand-new step-by-step Google Gemini guides across all 10 of our Subject Classrooms this morning. See the titles of all 10 new classroom posts waiting for you inside the Classroom tab at the end of this post: Spot Fake "Bank Fraud Department & Zelle Reversal" Calls in 5 Seconds The Key Benefit: One of the most dangerous scams in banking today starts with a realistic text message: "Bank Security Alert: Did you authorize a $980.00 Zelle transfer to 'Marcos R.'? Reply NO if you did not." The moment you reply "NO," your phone rings—and the Caller ID actually says your real bank's name (because scammers can "spoof" Caller ID)! The fake "Fraud Specialist" tells you that to "reverse" the pending transfer, you must read them a 6-digit code sent to your phone or "send a Zelle transfer back to your own account." With Google Gemini, you can learn the ironclad banking rules that stop this scam cold. What You Will Get & Save: You save thousands of dollars in irreversible wire and Zelle transfers, protect your 6-digit login security codes, and know how to verify any bank alert safely in 30 seconds. How to Do It (3 Simple Steps): Memorize this golden banking rule: no real bank employee will ever ask you to read a 6-digit text code over the phone, or ask you to send a Zelle/wire transfer to "reverse" a fraud charge. Hang up immediately, open Google Gemini, and copy/paste this prompt: "I just received a text or phone call claiming to be from [my bank's Fraud Department] about an unauthorized Zelle or wire transfer. Explain in 3 plain-English bullet points how 'Caller ID Spoofing' and 'Zelle Reversal Scams' work, and tell me the safest way to verify my real checking account right now." Flip your physical debit or credit card over and dial only the official customer-service number printed on the back of your card! Congratulations & Show It Off! Knowing that Caller ID can be faked—and never reading a 6-digit code to anyone who calls you—makes your bank account a fortress! Share this warning with your spouse, kids, and neighbors today, and tell us in the Skool comments if you've ever received a fake bank alert text!

Spot Fake "Unpaid Highway Toll & E-ZPass" Text Scams in 5 Seconds
Good morning everyone! We just added 10 brand-new step-by-step Google Gemini guides across all 10 of our Subject Classrooms this morning. See the titles of all 10 new classroom posts waiting for you inside the Classroom tab at the end of this post: Spot Fake "Unpaid Highway Toll & E-ZPass" Text Scams in 5 Seconds The Key Benefit: Across the country, millions of drivers—even people who haven't driven on a toll road in months—are receiving urgent text messages claiming: "E-ZPass / Toll Services: You have an unpaid toll balance of $4.65. Pay now to avoid a $50 late penalty and registration suspension." The scammers aren't after the $4.65—they want you to type your credit card number into their fake website! With Google Gemini, you can inspect any toll text in five seconds and see why real state toll agencies warn never to click text links. What You Will Get & Save: You save your credit card and bank account from stolen-card sprees, avoid fake "late fee" panic, and know the safe way to check your real toll transponder account. How to Do It (3 Simple Steps): Never tap a web link inside an unexpected text message about a highway toll—especially if the web address ends in strange letters like .top, .xin, or -ezpass-pay.com. Open Google Gemini on your phone, paste the text message (or upload a screenshot), and ask: "Look at this unpaid highway toll text message. Point out the 3 specific red flags in the web link and wording that prove it is a phishing scam, and give me the official .gov or state toll website for [insert your state] so I can check my real account safely." Delete and report the text as junk—and if you actually drove on a toll road recently, log in only through your state's official toll website! Congratulations & Show It Off! You just dodged one of the fastest-growing text scams on the road today! Forward this warning to your spouse, kids, and driving friends, and let us know in the Skool comments if this fake toll text has popped up on your phone!

Snap a Photo of Your Auto Repair Estimate to Spot Unnecessary Mechanic Upsells
Good morning everyone! We just added 10 brand-new step-by-step Google Gemini guides across all 10 of our Subject Classrooms this morning. See the titles of all 10 new classroom posts waiting for you inside the Classroom tab at the end of this post: The Key Benefit: You take your car in for a simple $49 oil change, and twenty minutes later the service advisor walks out with a grave look and a $950 printed estimate listing a "Fuel Injector Chemical Flush," "Throttle Body Decarbonization," and a $95 "Cabin Air Filter Replacement." With photo uploads in Google Gemini, you can snap a quick photo of the estimate right in the waiting lounge to see what your car's official factory manual actually requires at your mileage—and what is pure dealership profit padding! What You Will Get & Save: You save $150 to $600 on every service visit, learn which simple items (like a $15 cabin filter) take two minutes to do yourself, and talk to mechanics with total confidence. How to Do It (3 Simple Steps): Before signing or approving a multi-item repair estimate at the dealership or repair shop, tell the advisor, "Let me look this over for five minutes." Open the Google Gemini app, snap a clear photo of the printed estimate, and ask: "Look at this service estimate for my [insert Year, Make, Model, and current mileage, e.g., 2021 Toyota Camry with 35,000 miles]. In plain English, divide these items into: 1) Essential safety or factory-scheduled maintenance, 2) Optional 'flush' upsells I can safely decline, and 3) Whether the quoted parts and labor prices are fair for my area." Approve only the real maintenance items and politely decline the rest! Congratulations & Show It Off! No service counter will ever talk you into an overpriced "blinker fluid flush" again! Share how much you saved on your last car service in the Skool comments, and pass this prompt along to your family and friends! My 100-Year-Old Mum’s Daily Tech Routine (And Why This Group Exists!)
If you ever need proof that curiosity has no use-by date, let me introduce you to my favourite inspiration: my 100-year-old mum. See her below at her 100th birthday party on the 6th July 2026. Every single day, she puts most of us to shame with her routine. She makes sure she hits 1,000 steps and completes a series of daily exercises to keep her body moving. Right alongside her physical fitness, she gives her brain a proper workout—and her secret weapon is her iPad. At 100 years old, she is on her iPad every day. I couldn't be prouder of how she embraces technology to keep her mind sharp and her world big. She's a lifelong learner who still loves discovering new things and regularly watches educational videos on YouTube. She also likes to stay connected with friends and family, so she checks Facebook to see what they've been up to. Between digital mahjong, word games and number puzzles, she never lets her mind sit still and loves playing brain games in her books and on her iPad. Watching my mum thrive with her iPad opened my eyes to something important: there are way too many seniors out there who aren't using technology at all, often because it feels intimidating or overwhelming. My mum is one of the main reason I started the AI for Senior Adults community. If she can master her iPad at 100, any of us can learn how to use modern tools to make our lives richer, easier, and more fun. My goal is to take the mystery out of AI and show you practical ways it can help your daily life—whether that’s learning a new hobby, organising your day, or staying sharp. If you know another senior who is sitting on the tech sidelines and could benefit from what we’re doing here, please pass this group along to them! What was the last new thing you learned online this week? Drop it in the comments below!
