Selling the potential... How would you deal with this?
I have a question about selling Lovable prototypes/projects (not templates or whitelable but the whole thing) that I've created for someone else to own as an asset... I know that people often develop apps or software with the intention to sell... But in those cases they've gotten the product up and running first, have some sales data and then sell the product for someone else to run it from then onwards. So there's something tangible to valuate the asset off.
I'm wanting to do that with these Lovable based products that I've created, but with the difference being that I've mostly just got prototypes developed that I've used myself or demonstrated how it would work as a whitelable template when complete. And while I have pre-sold some, I don't have a lot of sales data to build the case that it's worth something to buy. Even though I know in the right hands it'll go off.
So my Q, if anyone has any insight around this is: how would I value these products - especially if they're a prototype (only I've used the app) or it's a 90% complete concept?
Note: I've parked the projects indefinitely, so I'm not interested in completing the projects or pre-sell them to get the sales data for product valuation.
Edited to add: thanks for the feedback so far, I'm not looking for market validation (I already have that) I'm looking for for market valuation of a micro-SaaS or app type product. This is a business asset not a product I want to sell to my audience.
