One Question I Ask Before Trying Any New AI Tool 🤔
One thing I keep coming back to while listening to these summit sessions is this:
If AI feels like it’s moving faster than your brain can comfortably track, that doesn’t mean you’re behind.
It means you’re human 🧠
A lot of AI overwhelm isn’t actually about skill level.
It’s about our nervous systems trying to orient inside constant change.
For me, the most helpful shift hasn’t been learning more tools.
It’s been slowing my response just enough to choose what actually matters for my work and my business.
So here’s the question I ask myself before trying any new AI tool, feature, or update that pops up in my feed 👀
✅️Does this help me do something I already care about better, faster, or with less friction right now?
  • If the answer is yes, I explore it calmly.
  • If the answer is maybe later, I save it.
  • If the answer is no, I let it pass without guilt.
That one pause has saved me so much mental energy!
If you want a practical step you can try today, here’s a very meta one 😅 Yes, we’re using AI to help with AI overwhelm.
✅️Mini Prompt You Can Copy + Paste into ChatGPT💬
I’m feeling pulled to try [name the specific AI tool, feature, or update].
Before I do, ask me a few simple questions to clarify whether this supports my current priorities or can wait, like What problem am I actually trying to solve right now? and Do I need this now, or is it okay to park it for later?
Curious to hear from others here 👇
What’s one specific AI tool or feature you’ve felt pressure to try lately?
