I was on the winning team for this hackathon. Tip of the hat to all of you, but obviously a big shout out to for helping me develop my skills. Our project was using Gemini to score the MITI, a feedback tool for therapists doing Motivational interviewing (a standardized talk therapy, primarily for addiction but applied to all kinds of stuff). It helps therapists make sure they are adherent to manualized therapy and shows them where they can improve. Our MITI ratings of sample therapy sessions were within spitting distance of human expert raters.
So, to the other n00bs out there: it's possible to actually do something meaningful even without pro coding skills.
