Claude.ai and it loosing its memory

I have been playing with Claude today and working on a single task. it seems i have got to the stage where it seems to be making more wrong choices and moving backwards in my tasks as it was about an hour ago. I am getting it to fix things displaying in box A, but then it deletes the contents of box B. Items should be in both locations. It had solved this and had other issues, but now its just dumped out code that would put me hours back. Has anyone else experience this with Claude?

i have had this with other LLMs, though Claude has been great so far. I'll just have to start a new thread. upkload my files for context and hop too it I suppose.
