Gemini Laura, Making Some Changes Around Here
I've been noticing that most people in our community hop in and not come back, or stay quiet.
That is why I have been wrecking my brain to come up with ways to make this community more appealing to come back to.
I see a lot of communities just do fun stuff on their walls, and it looks like people like that, but would you keep coming back to only fluff over time?
Not me.
As you may know about me, I am a Gemini, and when I already come up with 19 new projects before breakfast, my brain does not need silly distractions... It needs signals that I am focusing on the right things in my business.
About the Changes...
As Skoolers (Skool Community Owners) we are not allowed to promote our own communities in the Skooler Community, and we all need promotion. We always need more eyes on our stuff.
- The Algorithm POD will stay, because it is an amazing way to get those eyes. This isn't a follow for follow thread that would only hurt your algorithm, when you play the POD as I intended, the social media platforms will reward you by showing your posts to more people.
- About Promotion... I need you to have a reason to come back to this community, so I am going to give you a place where you are able to promote your business. Not with threads that only hold links that nobody will ever look at.. I will do things a bit different. I am placing you in a Spotlight. When I post your business, all the members in the community will get a notification about it.
- I am introducing Accelerator Events. These will be Bundles & Spotlight Events that will help us all to grow our email lists & get in front of each others audience. You will be able to become a Bundle Participant when you reach Level 5 in the community. Your freebie will show up as a single Classroom during the Bundle period, with a bio and all your links (in order of submission). Sponsors will be placed before non-sponsors, and get more exposure (all proceeds of sponsoring will be used for ad campaigns, to attract even more people)
