Skills- AIS Challenge Day 3

I’ve been mulling this over for a while and when I got to this module the bells were going off.

Since 2022, I’ve been managing invoice generation manually for myself and my wife since we’re both 1099 providers. It’s been a tedious process especially since we work at multiple hospitals

and invoicing once a month took me an hour or two each month. I built this skill to help me generate an invoice using my template and it sorts it into each of our own folders in our business Google Drive. So now what used to take an hour or two of manual labor takes maybe 60 seconds. That’s AMAZING!

Named- CERNA invoice generator: I just tell Claude to generate me an invoice for myself or my wife, the dates we worked, hours, and hospital. It knows our hourly rate so does the math and generates an invoice. Places the pdf into my Google Drive and drafts an email to our anesthesia group account manager. It won’t attach the invoice but that’s fine.

Improvement: I had several iterations of where the skill would snapshot the xlsx and would improvise style and produced less than quality invoices. So I had to go back and manually point the AI at the actual file, upload a reference invoice, and it now writes it correctly.
