Question about automation pricing
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking about something recently...
There are two main ways that we can sell AI automations:
  1. ONE-OFF: Selling a one-off automation for a price tag
  2. SETUP + RETAINER: Charging for a setup of an automation and having the client on a retainer
Has anyone here built an automation where instead of just selling it as one-off, they have the client on for a retainer? If so, what's the use case and what made you choose the retainer model over one-off?
I'm specifically looking for answers where the automation boosts efficiency for a company (does a repetitive task reliably), as opposed to a voice agent or an appointment setter agent (which is more towards the sales side and the pricing model usually is commission or retainer already).
