& team that you featured Plexaris Uganda in your newsletter this week, telling the story of how our group of students in Kampala became co-founders of an AI business unit.

That is exactly what happened.

Last year we started with an idea: what if we trained local talent in Uganda to build real AI platforms not as outsourced labour, but as co-owners of what they build?

Today, that team is in week 3 of building their first platform. Four engineers. Daily standups. Real code shipping to production. No handholding, they run it with the help of myself for the complete infrastructure.

This is just the beginning. Six platforms. 52 weeks. Built in Uganda, for Uganda.
