Built: a one-paste GSD to Redux migration for Claude Code

If you, your team, or any of your clients installed the original GSD ("Get Shit Done") tool for Claude Code before its creator rug-pulled the $GSD token and walked away, you have a live supply-chain problem on every machine where it still lives. The abandoned npm packages are still in the registry, and the original maintainer can push a malicious update at any time. For agencies, this is on every client environment that touched it.

I built a single, vetted Claude Code prompt that handles the full migration to the community-maintained GSD Redux fork. Paste it into Claude Code. Watch it run. Done.

This isn't just a removal script. Engineering decisions baked into the prompt:

Quarantines old artifacts instead of deleting them. The whole run is reversible.
Backs up every config before editing and validates JSON after.
Extracts your custom slash commands, agents, skills, and specs BEFORE touching the old install, so customizations survive the migration.
Never overwrites existing files in the Redux install. Collisions are flagged, not silently merged.
Fetches the live Redux README at runtime, so install instructions never go stale.
Won't touch wallets, keystores, or anything crypto-adjacent.
Produces a final report with full rollback instructions.

Conservative on judgment calls, safe to drop into a client environment.
