New Features Dropped for CribOps-CLI!
We've added a ton of new features since our video I posted.
(for those that missed it) video is in the link below on the GitHub.
It's a free cli tool that can install n8n instantly on your local machine or in your own AWS cloud in minutes after 1 command, and a cup of coffee while you watch it build it all hands free.
New Feature Highlights are:
Ability to update the size of your database and n8n instance with ZERO downtime.
Scheduled Updates with Zero Downtime on schedule you choose.
Set your desired maintenance window for your database patches
This one might get you thinking...
We now also create an AWS IAM user (no access to anything but a link to manage in the console)
And we add that IAM User as an N8N credential automatically as well.
You might ask yourself, what would I do with that? Um, ALL THE THINGS!!!!
N8N has native AWS nodes. One of them is Lambda, Lambda talks to anything, including... AWS Step Functions. Need N8N to do something at scale and more cost effective?
Pass it off to AWS Step Functions and have it chunk through things at up to 10,000 concurrent executions at a time. That will make short work of lots of things. (Keep in mind that if you're having it hit an api or something with these, you might need to turn that back a bit if the api can't handle it).
When the job's done, if you want, send a result to SNS (Simple Notification Service) which can be "subscribed to" by N8N as a trigger.
I'll work on creating a workflow for this out there shortly so you have a starting point.
That's just one example, the sky is the limit (well, your wallet if you get crazy).
Enjoy!
