n8n upgrade while in a yearly plan

Hello Everyone, I'm looking to get a community plan on N8n and pay yearly (to save money), if it so happens that I need to upgrade to the pro plan while I'm still in my year I paid for, will the money for the remaining months then be transferred towards the pro plan or will I have to pay full price for the pro plan then and my money for the remaining months of the community plan is basically going to waste?
