Start with responsibility, not intelligence
The right way to build an agent is to define its responsibility before its intelligence.
Ask yourself: What is this agent allowed to decide on its own?
Most beginners give agents too much power too early.
That’s how systems become unpredictable.
A good agent has a narrow role: one decision, one outcome, clear boundaries.
Intelligence only works when responsibility is constrained.
Otherwise, you’re just outsourcing chaos.
