just closed another client but he paid $50 extra without me asking
THIS CLIENT PAID ME $200 INSTEAD OF $150
so i quoted him $150 for a website project, we discussed everything, terms agreed
project went smooth, delivered exactly what he wanted
when payment time came... he sent $200
i was confused tbh, messaged him like "hey you overpaid by $50"
his response: "nah man, the quality of work and how you communicated throughout deserves more. keep it."
things he specifically mentioned:
→ quick response time to all his questions
→ went beyond just the website, gave him extra tips
→ delivered 2 days before deadline
→ made revisions without complaining
honestly didn't expect this but it made me realize something - when you actually care about the work and treat clients right, they notice
not trying to brag, just feels good when someone values your work that much
