Just built a real-time AI voice agent using LiveKit, Twilio, React, and OpenAI GPT-4.1 — and it actually calls your phone to talk with you through a LiveKit room

Here’s the flow:

Frontend built with React — user enters name & phone number.
Twilio triggers a call and creates a LiveKit room.
My Python agent joins the room — powered by Sarvam.ai for voice and OpenAI GPT-4.1 for intelligence.
The agent then interacts naturally in real time

It’s wild to see how smooth and responsive it feels — real-time, low latency, and fully conversational.
