How I hacked my Lead Gen workflow as a Growth Intern from 0 to targeted leads in 15 mins 🚀
Hi everyone! As a Growth Intern for an AI startup, my biggest challenge isn't finding people—it's finding the right people.
As an applied stats student, I hate inefficient "cold outreach." I used to spend hours manually searching through Skool and Reddit, trying to guess who actually needs our tool. 🦀
I finally automated this entire discovery process using Maxgent. Instead of scrolling, I built a "Customer Discovery Agent" that works while I sleep.
Here is my 3-step Lead Gen workflow (Check the screenshots):
  1. Intent Scraping: Maxgent scans specific communities for keywords like "How to automate," "Clowbot error," or "Resume help."
  2. Statistical Scoring: I programmed the Agent to rank users based on their activity level and the "pain point" intensity in their comments.
  3. Targeted Outreach: Every morning, I get a clean list of the top 10 people who are most likely to benefit from our solution right now.
Why this is a game-changer for my internship:
  • Zero "Dependency Hell": I don't need to set up complex local scrapers. It’s all cloud-based and 1-click.
  • Precision: I’m not spamming. I’m reaching out to people who literally just asked for help.
  • Efficiency: What used to take 4 hours now takes 15 minutes to review.
I’m currently proving to my mentor that Data-Driven Growth > Brute Force.
