Location: Remote (US-based preferred)
Project Type: Contract with potential for ongoing partnership
Industry: K-12 Education + AI Automation
I run an established EdTech consulting company in the United States that supports K-12 schools and school districts with technology planning, AI readiness, professional development, and digital literacy programs. Demand for AI support is growing rapidly, and I’m looking to bring on a high-level AI technical partner to help expand our offerings.
What I’m Looking For
A developer/architect who is deeply experienced in:
- AI automation, orchestration, and agent ecosystems (custom agents, assistants, workflows, retrieval systems, n8n/Zapier/Make, vector DBs, ReAct-style agents, etc.)
- Building classroom- and school-site-level AI assistants (teacher aides, curriculum tools, admin-workflow agents, intake automation, readiness assessments, etc.)
- Working within K-12 education — understanding FERPA, COPPA, data minimization, student privacy best practices, and enterprise-level security requirements.
- Supporting school operations and building tools for teachers, principals, office staff, IT teams, and district-level leadership.
Immediate Projects
- Refining and expanding our AI School Audit / AI Technology Plan documents.
- Helping architect and prototype AI Fluency tools and agents for classroom and campus use.
- Designing automation workflows that reduce teacher/admin workload while staying compliant with all K-12 regulatory requirements.
- Advising on best-in-class stack selection for scalable AI adoption across schools and districts.
Ideal Candidate
- Has hands-on experience deploying AI agents in real-world SMB or education environments.
- Understands how to build reliable, safe, human-in-the-loop systems for educators.
- Can translate complex AI capabilities into practical tools for school stakeholders.
- Comfortable collaborating, iterating, and helping develop a long-term AI roadmap for clients.
