Guidelines for n8n Questions

If you need help with n8n, you've found the right place!

Just a few guidelines to help others help you.

This section is a catch-all for any type of question you have around n8n and its uses. it doesn't just have to be about technical problems (but it can!). Having said that:

** If your question involves an error / problem:**

Research your problem a little bit. in particular spend 5 minutes checking out:

https://community.n8n.io/categories especially the Questions category, and
https://github.com/n8n-io/n8n/issues to see where others have had a problem, if it is to do with n8n core functionality not working as expected

If your error / problem involving an n8n node or workflow, where possible, include screenshots of:

the whole workflow
the problem node, with error statement
f you feel comfortable, share your workflow json file. This helps others to inspect the issue more closely.
Also let us know which edition of n8n you are using (Self hosted or hosted version, community or paid)
