Full Setup Guide: $800 Monthly AI Receptionist That Writes Its Own Reports
Posted yesterday about the AI receptionist I built for a property services client. Figured I'd share the full setup guide for anyone who wants to see how it all connects.
The stack:
→ Google Sheets (CRM + call logs + employee notes)
→ n8n (workflow automation + MCP server)
→ VAPI (voice AI layer)
→ Twilio (phone number + SMS)
The guide covers everything step by step:
- Google Sheets CRM structure (4 tabs)
- All 4 n8n workflows with node-by-node breakdowns
- Full VAPI system prompt (copy and paste ready)
- MCP tool configuration
- Twilio setup
- Testing checklist + troubleshooting
This is running in production right now. Handles employee work reports, client routing, after-hours logic, SMS/email notifications to the team all automated.
I charge $800/mo for this as a done-for-you service.
Been at this for a few months now since taking an AI automation course through U of A, still learning every day so if you have questions or want to bounce ideas hit me up!
