Folder structures (SOLVED)

Hi everyone, I do not understand how to set up my folder structure. I watch the videos and follow along and do the research but sometime the folders are in a .github folder other times the .github is in the project folder, sometime the project is in a global project. This may be rudimentary, but I'd appreciate a point in the right direction.
