First Client Retell agent picking up its own voice issue

My Retell voice agent sometimes “hears” itself — it picks up parts of what it just said and treats it like I said it, which messes up the conversation since it's talking to itself.

I’ve tried lowering sensitivity, disabling backchannel, slowing responses, and other tweaks, but it still happens.

Has anyone else had this issue and found a fix? I would deeply appreciate if anybody knows how to fix this. Please send me a DM or leave a comment here.
