Community Discussion: Outsourcing the Face of your company

Let's say you've built a company where everything behind the scenes is completely automated. The only thing missing is someone to handle all the direct human interaction – think sales calls, account management, and project discussions.

This person would essentially be the face of your company for these interactions, but all the actual "work" afterwards is automated.

Would you consider hiring a freelancer from Upwork or Fiverr for this vital role, and would you be comfortable with them being the sole person responsible for these critical client-facing tasks?
