Call Automation for Businesses
Lately I’ve been experimenting with combining n8n and Vapi and it’s been pretty interesting seeing what’s possible
I set up a system where Vapi handles the actual phone calls while n8n manages the logic and data behind the scenes. Together they form a kind of AI call agent that can talk to buyers, answer basic questions, and even act like a company personal assistant by scheduling follow ups, logging conversations, and keeping things organized automatically
The fun part is how smooth the handoff feels. Vapi does the talking and n8n does the thinking. Every call can trigger workflows like saving transcripts, updating CRM fields, or alerting someone when human input is needed
It’s amazing how much time this setup can save when done right. What I like most is how customizable it is. You can tweak the voice, tone, and logic to match whatever the business needs
