calendarAgent breaking with no attendee specified

I'm building a master AI agent that calls a calendarAgent, an emailAgent and a researchAgent exactly as Nate has done in his videos. He hinted in one of them that there's something funky with Google Calendar when you don't specify the attendees. I'm finding that my calendarAgent creates events when others are invited, but when it's just for my calendar, it does not.

Has anyone come across this? I've search the community as well as the n8n community and back in some of his videos but have not seen anything on this. I've got to believe it's a common issue.
