Built a Machine That Turns Content Ideas into Short Videos for a client

Overview of the Project:

The goal was to automate an entire video creation pipeline.

Input content ideas into a Google Sheet.

Have AI automatically generate a short-form video script.

Wait for manual approval via Google Sheet.

Upon approval, auto-generate a vertical video (9:16) using a preset HeyGen avatar + voice.

Skip or pause for unapproved or rejected ideas

Tools Used:

n8n – The backbone of automation

Google Sheets – For storing ideas, tracking statuses, and managing scripts

OpenAI – For converting rough ideas into polished American English scripts

HeyGen – For generating videos using avatars and voice

Elven Labs – For custom voice generation
