Beyond AI: Building Better Custom Nodes for n8n?

While n8n offers an impressive node library, I've been working on custom nodes to extend functionality for specific use cases. Though the platform makes node development accessible, I've found the documentation could use more detailed examples - often requiring exploration of the codebase or reverse engineering existing nodes.

This, like other communicties and forums have great discussions around AI/agent use cases and workflow, but I'd love to see more knowledge sharing around custom node development for n8n.
