It’s funny when you say it out loud, but it’s also painfully true:
- You’re at a networking event.
- Someone asks, “So, what do you do?”
- You spend 3 minutes giving the elevator pitch.
- They nod, smile… and then move on.
Repeat 17 more times.
And yet, this is the grind nobody talks about:
- Selling your vision, not just your product.
- Making people understand your ideas, even if they’ve never heard of them.
- Staying excited when you’ve already repeated yourself a dozen times today.
Entrepreneurship isn’t just doing the work it’s constantly translating your work into something others can grasp.
So here’s my question for you: How do you explain what you do in one sentence without sounding like a robot or a hype video?
Drop your answer I’ll reply to the ones I find the cleverest!
