Automation fatigue vs response reality
Funny how everyone in the AI agency space talks about automation like it’s the silver bullet.. yet most of the automations I see just speed up the wrong process.
I’ve tested bots, sequences, funnels, you name it. The problem isn’t the lack of tech, it’s that prospects are drowning in identical outreach. At some point, shaving milliseconds off response time doesn’t matter if nobody opens the message.
One channel we played with forced us to rethink this: SMS. It’s not new tech, it’s old but weirdly unexploited in B2B. Seeing a 80%+ open rate made me realize:
sometimes the ‘unsexy’ channel outperforms the newest AI-powered widget.
