Automating LinkedIn Posts with ChatGPT + n8n

Been thinking… what if I could fully automate my LinkedIn posting using just ChatGPT and n8n? No fancy tools, no third-party schedulers—just raw automation.

Here’s the rough idea I’m playing with:

Every morning at a set time (say 9AM), a Cron Trigger kicks off a workflow in n8n
A Set Node holds a bunch of possible post topics (like “AI in business” or “Prompt engineering for non-coders”) and writing styles (inspirational, educational, funny, etc.)
A Function Node randomly picks one topic + one style for the day
An HTTP Request Node sends that info to ChatGPT, using a prompt like:“You are a LinkedIn content creator. Write a short post about {{topic}} in a {{style}} tone. Keep it under 4 sentences and end with a question.”
Then the LinkedIn Node automatically publishes it. Done. No human touch required.
