Most people are using AI backwards.
They open ChatGPT and type:
“Write me a post about X.”
And then they wonder why it sounds generic.
That’s not an AI problem.
That’s a research problem.
You don’t need better prompts.
You need better inputs.
Here’s what changed everything for me:
Before I create anything, I run research loops.
I use Perplexity (or Deep Research in ChatGPT) to:
• Pull current industry conversations
• Extract real objections
• Identify recurring questions
• Find data that strengthens positioning
• Map angles competitors are missing
Then I create.
When you do this, your content stops sounding like “AI content.”
It sounds informed.
Grounded.
Relevant.
That’s the difference between:
Posting to post
vs
Posting with authority
Inside the AI Research & Workflow Automation with Perplexity course (free in this community), I walk through:
• How to structure research threads
• When to use Pro vs free
• How to build spaces for ongoing topic tracking
• How to turn research into publish-ready content
• How to avoid surface-level summaries
This is the foundation most people skip.
They try to monetize content without ever building depth.
If you want your ideas to hit harder, convert better, and feel less forced…
Go through that course first.
It’s free.
And it will instantly upgrade everything you create.

Then come back and tell me what shifted.
If you’re serious about turning content into execution and not just information, that’s where the next step begins.
Let’s build properly.
