I’ve been working on a way to turn my video shoots into searchable media library. Delivering terabytes of raw footage to clients on hard drives is a pain and the raw clips are hidden in folders. The files are unsearchable, so the footage just sits there and dies. The solution is a custom, automated AI media vault built for each brand. The Stack & Workflow: Python + FFmpeg: A local script parses my export folders and automatically generates lightweight 1080p web proxies. Google Gemini Flash: Transcribes the audio, auto-tags visual metadata, and categorizes clips based on folder structure. Cloudflare R2: Secure cloud storage buckets per client. Softr: The front-end client portal. Instead of paying an editor to manually tag assets, Gemini turns spoken quotes into instant search filters. The client types in a keyword, and the exact 15-second clip isolates immediately. I’m currently rolling this out as a premium service to close higher-tier, multi-day production contracts. Hey everyone, I’m Ved. I joined @Stephen G. Pope community about two years ago because I wanted to learn AI and automation and figure out how I could make a living online. A few months after joining, I started helping people inside the community while continuing to learn. I eventually had a conversation with Stephen, and he gave me an opportunity to work with him and help run the community. That opportunity changed a lot for me. Over the next year and a half, I learned much more than just AI and automation. I learned how online businesses work, how to build things people actually need, and how to work with clients and a team. Along the way, I started getting my own clients and slowly built my own business on the side. One of the biggest things I was able to do with what I earned was start building a home for my family. Three weeks ago, the house was finally completed, and I moved in with my family. So I just wanted to share this as a small win and say thank you to this community, and especially to Stephen, for the opportunity and everything I learned along the way. Really grateful for the journey so far, and excited for what comes next.
